Today was mostly overcast, but quite comfortable at 17* C. The real weather story today is the wind. It’s blowing off the crest of each wave, making for dramatic scenery.
We decided to give our car a break today, so we walked into town, took some pictures along the waterfront, had lunch, and then got a few groceries before heading back.
We had lunch at Ancoradouro, overlooking the water. Great food and service. The portions are generous!
Our tour guides, Carlos and Laura, have released the YouTube video they made during our island tour last week. If you’d like to watch it, click here:

Tip of the Day:
Lunch here is generally served between noon and 2 PM, and it’s a substantial meal. Restaurants seem to open for dinner service at 7 PM. For us, going out for lunch makes the most sense. We can have a large meal, and then a light snack for dinner at home. Honestly, by 7PM, we’re usually winding down and maybe even (usually) in our jammies!
