A Hikeless Day

The temperature continues to be a balmy 17* C, with overcast skies, and the wind continues to roar. We set off in search of new vantage points for photos. Heading east, we turned off the main road into the neighbourhoods that skirt the coast. Every village is quaint and beautiful in its own way, and always has a large area where we can park and walk along the water.

The highlight of today was another chance encounter that we had with a couple that fled Canada, with their teenage children, during early COVID. We plan to see them again later in the week, when we will take photos and post them here.

Tip of the day: It’s more than okay to head out for the day with next to no plan. We left this morning with just a general idea of where we would go and and what we would do. We knew that we wanted to find out where the Cafe Campo Raso was located in order to check the hours for a future day. We also knew we needed a few groceries. In this case, a vague plan resulted in a wonderful day.
