Today was more overcast than sun so we spent more time just relaxing and hanging out. We ventured out for a walk along the coastline this afternoon. It was low tide so we were able to explore areas that we hadn’t previously. It quickly became clear that the competition for beach glass here on the island isn’t nearly as ruthless as it is along our Lake Huron shoreline!
Tip of the Day:
You may have noticed that there wasn’t a tip of the day yesterday. We had one but forgot to log it. Here it is. When hiking along the edge of farmers’ fields, be careful not to confuse a cow paddy with a smooth lava rock. Cow paddies can look the same but it does leave one a bit surprised when you end up ankle deep in it! (Sue)
